Greetings yoga friends,

This week’s tip of the day is to “stack your bones.”

When you stack your bones in a yoga pose, you achieve:

  • Proper alignment
  • Your muscles don’t have to work so hard for you to stay in the pose.

This is called efficiency of movement.

Your body will also appreciate the way the pose feels and the benefits of the pose will be revealed.

  • Length in the body
  • Strength
  • Balance

 

You can see the difference in Tom’s body when I adjust him and stack his hands, elbows and shoulders in extended side angle.
